Hi! I'm Clare.
I created The Accompaniment Practice because I believe many of us aren't lacking motivation or self-awareness — we simply need a different kind of conversation, one that invites exploration through our whole selves, not just our (beautifully overthinking) minds.

My work is about helping you build a relationship with yourself that you can trust and reliably come home to. That means learning to hear what your deeper knowing is communicating, developing the nervous system capacity to stay connected to it, and gradually shaping your life to reflect it.

I've always been endlessly curious about people. I'm fascinated by the questions that don't have easy answers:

What is the "there" I'm working toward? What does a happy, meaningful, and successful life actually mean to me? If I'm so self-aware, why do I still feel stuck? Why do I feel anxious even when everything is going well? Why does it feel so hard to simply be myself?

As you'll discover throughout this site, our minds aren't the only place those answers live. In fact, our bodies often know long before our minds have the words for it.

Poke around, read my story, and see what all this somatic coaching business is about. And if you find yourself resonating with what's here - even if you can't quite explain why - I have a feeling we've found each other at the just right time.

In this, with you,

Clare
